New Work by current Portland State University and University of Oregon MFA students in the Hayden Gallery
Continuous Lattice is the second annual exchange exhibition between first year studio art MFA students at the University of Oregon and Portland State University. Each work in the show was selected collectively through a series of studio visits on both campuses. This process opened a dialogue across Institutions that was at once critical, professional, and social. Collaborative exchange and discourse allows for perspectives that otherwise would not be evident reveal themselves. Interrelationships and similarities between one's own work and that of others become apparent through the process of exchange allowing room for new possibilities to grow. Continuous Lattice is a documentation of that growth.
