Are Graduation and the Commencement Ceremony the same thing?
No. While often used interchangeably in casual conversation, there are very important distinctions.
Graduation is the completion of all requirements to earn your degree. The Commencement Ceremony is the celebration of reaching this milestone.
Graduate Students must apply to graduate by April 10th using GradWeb.
Undergraduate students must apply by April 26th using DuckWeb.
Please note that participating in the Commencement Ceremony, including walking across the stage, does not in itself constitute graduation or the conferral of a degree from the University of Oregon.
Where can I park?
Parking will be available at Autzen Stadium. Guests should plan to walk or take the shuttle to Hayward Field. Please note that, as this is a regular business day at the University of Oregon, on-campus parking will not be available and standard parking enforcement will be in effect. Are there areas in Hayward Field for individuals who need accessible seating?
Yes. Hayward Field has areas to suit accommodations as best as they can be met.
Is there a clear-bag policy in Hayward Field?
Yes. Any bag that enters Hayward Field must be clear.
Are dogs allowed inside Hayward Field?
No. There is a strict no dogs policy.
What time should graduates arrive and check in?

Are there restrooms near the accessible seating?
Yes, there are many restrooms spread throughout Hayward Field.
Are there maps for visiting families?
There will be QR codes throughout campus, and you can visit https://map.uoregon.edu/.

Yes. Security will be checking bags upon entry.
