UO Commencement Ceremony

The main UO ceremony is separate from the College of Design's ceremony and will be held in Autzen Stadium at 9 a.m. PDT on Monday, June 15. You can find more information about UO’s 2026 ceremony on the UO Commencement website.

Class of '26 Graduation Checklist

2026 grads, make sure you complete all the steps below to receive your degree  
and participate in the commencement ceremony.

Do this as soon as possible.

#1. Apply for your degree.

Applying for your degree is different than opting in to participate in commencement. (See #2 below for more information.) Anyone who graduates during 2026 can participate in this year’s ceremony, but make sure to signify the term you are actually graduating (winter, spring, summer, or fall) in your degree application.

  • Graduate students should apply for their degree using GradWeb by April 10.
  • Undergraduates must apply for a Spring 2026 degree using DuckWeb by April 26.

If you miss your application date, please speak to an advisor immediately.

Do these in April / Early May.

#2. RSVP for the College of Design Ceremony. 

Make sure your name is in our program the way you want it to appear when the file is available for review when this becomes available in May. This is required in addition to #1 above. 

#3. Purchase or rent your regalia (cap, gown, tassel, stole, cords).

The Duck Store is your one-stop shop for all commencement gear. Undergrads can purchase caps and gowns any time before Commencement, but beware that they may run out of your size if you wait too long. 

PhD tams and gowns are custom-made, so you must order them before the deadline.

Do this on Graduation Day, June 15

#4. Check in South of Hayward Field.

Graduate Entrance: Graduates should enter the alleyway south of Hayward Field from 18th Ave. Here, you will check in from 3 - 3:45 p.m. and line up with your cohorts!

Guest Entrance: Guests will be shuttled to Hayward Field. Once there, you will enter at the Southeast Entrance.

Parking: There will be no public parking available on campus except in the Millrace Garage or those with ADA placards/plates.
Guests must park at Autzen Stadium, Millrace Garage, or PacificSource North Lot. We recommend parking at Autzen Stadium, as the Millrace Garage will fill up quickly!

ADA Parking Alternative Locations: 13th Avenue Garage, Lot 17, Lot 37, Lot 38.
