Current Undergraduate Students
All current DSGN students (you have a Duck ID) at both Eugene and Portland campuses can access academic advising in the following two ways:
- Schedule an Appointment
- This is the preferred way to work with an advisor. Any question or conversation that requires more than a simple and quick answer should occur in an appointment.
- Some examples of appointment-related topics: class planning for the term or future terms, major application process, how study abroad might fit into your academic plans, and how to handle academic struggles or other challenges.
- In-person and remote zoom appointments are available. You will be able to select which you prefer when you book your appointment.
- Please self-schedule with the Navigate app, our online scheduling platform.
- If you experience issues with self-scheduling, you can call 541-346-2621 for help.

Newly Admitted UO Students
Welcome, Incoming Design Ducks! We’re excited to help you get ready for your first term at the University of Oregon! Once you've completed all your admissions and orientation requirements, you'll receive an email to your @uoregon.edu address with an invitation to schedule a meeting with one of our academic advisors.
Please wait until you receive this invitation and use the link in the email to book your appointment. It is critical that you claim your UO ID (link) and set up your uoregon email as soon as possible because this is the only way we can contact you to schedule your IntroDucktion advising appointment.
