Students from the Department of Product Design’s bachelor of fine arts program and graduate program in Sports Product Design are among the contributors for Bespoke Bodies: The Design & Craft of Prosthetics. Product Design students at the UO in Portland worked with athletes to design adaptive products, which are some of the pieces featured in the show.

A partnership between the Design Museum Foundation and Pacific Northwest College of Art and funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, the exhibition “surveys the past, present, and future of prosthetic design” and examines how prosthetics impact the lives of people living with limb loss. The exhibition is free and runs until May 9 at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, 511 NW Broadway in Portland.
