The College of Design (DSGN), in concert with its community partners and amazing alumni, helps provide equitable opportunities for its students and prospective students to earn an education at the University of Oregon (UO), thanks to the passionate giving from all our Oregon Design Ducks (ODD) and the hard work of our development team.
In 2004, FFA Architecture and Interiors (FFA) established a scholarship at UO to support graduate students focused on the study of urban architecture, with special consideration given to eligible DSGN Portland students. With twenty-eight students helped and over $50,000 awarded, the scholarship continues to recognize outstanding future architects by providing financial support in their graduate studies, like this year's recipient, Savannah Sinowitz.
A Master’s Candidate, Savannah, who has held a 4.0 GPA throughout her academic career, is pursuing a double-major in Architecture as well as Interior Architecture and is looking forward to graduating next Spring. She is an outstanding student with a bright future and we couldn't be happier to see this ODDuck celebrated and honored. Learn more about Savannah and the FFA award below.
