College of Design

The executive director of the Oregon chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors remembers the UO fondly.

The 3rd Annual Feast for Fifty featured the creations of senior product design students with the UO Board of Trustees as this year’s dinner guests.

The UO promoted or granted tenure to 76 faculty members, including 12 from the College of Design. Congratulations to all!

Professionals, students, faculty, and alumni were honored at the 2019 PPPM ceremony.

PPPM Associate Professor Renée Irvin and architecture student Renee Dobre presented at the event.

The College of Design will host a writing retreat for self-identified underrepresented faculty of color and allies.   

With the grant, the Energy Studies in Buildings Laboratory will collect mass-timber acoustic data through a new testing facility.

Through the Better Housing Together coalition and in classrooms, SAE and PPPM faculty are working to increase affordable housing options.
