Department of Landscape Architecture Secures Five Years for Overlook Outdoor Instructional Area

The Department of Landscape Architecture (UOLA) at the College of Design has a reason to celebrate. The department was recently allocated space to operate the “Overlook Outdoor Instructional Area” over the next five years. “Overlook” refers to both the Willamette River Natural Area Landscape Management Plan recommendation for a river viewpoint adjacent to the site, as well as the nationally awarded program which lies at the heart of the Fuller Initiative.

Dezeen Spotlights Transpecies Design Exhibit by College of Design at the ECC Biennale

Four Landscape Architecture Student Earn ASLA Awards 

The School of Architecture & Environment (SAE) and the Department of Landscape Architecture both have a cause for celebration as four Oregon Design Ducks (ODD or ODDucks) have earned awards courtesy of the Oregon Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).  ASLA awarded four Landscape Architecture students honor and merit awards for "being truly outstanding in their program."
