Tips for Staying on Track to Graduate

We encourage our students to:

  • Meet with an academic advisor at least once a term
  • Officially declare a major
  • Work with your department to understand major requirements
  • Create a long-term academic plan
  • Revisit your graduation plan often

Applying to Graduate School 

Should I pursue graduate school?

The decision to pursue a graduate education is an exciting one! Whether students already have identified the institution(s) of their choosing or are just beginning to explore the possiblity of graduate school, our office is here to help.

Students may schedule an individual appointment for help with clarifying their goals, developing their personal statement as part of an application process, and completing their applications. Our staff includes experienced advisors, writer/editors, and professionals in academia whose combined knowledge is available to assist students to take this next step.
