Schedule an Advising Appointment

College of Design academic and career advisors work with all disciplines within the college. Our approach to advising is student-centered, caring, holistic, inclusive, and culturally aware. We provide a safe, respectful, and confidential space in which to ask questions, discuss your interests, and express any concerns.

Career Advising for Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Career advising and education is available to help students from their first through their final year explore and develop career goals, design an internship/job search strategy, create career application materials, and strengthen interviewing skills. Students can schedule an individual appointment (instructions below), enroll in 1-credit career development courses (DSGN), and access resources through the Career Services website.

Academic Advising for Undergraduate Students

Academic advisors help students understand UO degree requirements, select courses and majors, connect to UO resources and support services, and encourage students’ sustained engagement in campus life. Our team of advisors works with all of our College of Design majors and minors, as well as prospective and exploring students.

Academic Advising for Graduate Students

Graduate students may seek academic advising assistance from their major department advising team: Departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture, Historic Preservation, Landscape Architecture, Art, History of Art and Architecture; School of Planning, Public Policy and Management.
